Michael Lewis
Michael Lewis co-founded Stellar Semiconductor where, as CTO, he developed 3D-rendering semiconductors. Later he co-founded Cryptic Studios where as CEO he led the company to develop several successful massively multiplayer online role-playing games. Both companies were sold to publicly traded companies, a process which ultimately led him to his current interest in corporate transparency.
Michael is currently the founder and CEO of a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation dedicated to supporting research on radical transparency for business. As a supporter of the Maker and Creative Commons cultures, the foundation tests new business models with the potential for longterm economic and environmental sustainability. The foundation's first project, OpenGameLabs.org, is focused on start-up video game developers.
Michael earned his B.Sc. in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and resides in Los Angeles, CA.
